Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Wastewater Modeller to lead the development of wastewater models and manage key project aspects within the Water Management team in the UK. You will work closely with clients to expand Arcadis’s project portfolio through strategic engagement and proactive problem-solving.

The role requires mentoring junior staff and delivering technical outputs aligned with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects.
• Skilled in team and stakeholder coordination and management.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM and GIS.
• Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (ICE/CIWEM).
• Proven experience in model QA procedures and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wastewater infrastructure modelling projects and manage tasks of varying scales.
• Review and verify wastewater models, oversee sewer network model build and surveys.
• Support designers at concept and detailed design stages.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations.
• Lead and mentor junior team members; foster collaborative environment.
• Contribute to bids with narratives, cost estimates and programmes.
