Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Wastewater Modeller to lead modelling and client engagement across UK water projects. You will direct model development, oversee verification of sewer networks, and drive strategic improvements for flooding and CSO reduction. <\/p>

You'll mentor colleagues, coordinate across disciplines, and contribute to bids while maintaining high technical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM is preferred.
• Proficiency in GIS and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater modelling projects and manage tasks across scales.
• Review models, verify sewer networks, and mitigate flooding.
• Support designers at concept and detailed design stages.
• Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations for clients.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Assist bids with narratives, cost estimates, and schedules.
