Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller in the UK to lead the development of wastewater models and manage key project aspects. You will work closely with clients to expand Arcadis’s project portfolio through strategic interactions and deliver solutions for complex water challenges.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Skilled in team and stakeholder coordination and management.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software packages.
• Chartered membership with ICE or CIWEM desirable.
• Proven experience in model quality assurance procedures.
• Strong report-writing and data-analysis skills.
• Coding experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects and manage tasks of varying scales.
• Review and verify wastewater models, oversee model build and sewer network verification.
• Support designers at concept, outline, and detailed design stages.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to explain model outputs clearly and manage feedback.
• Mentor junior team members and support ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to bids with narratives, cost estimates, and programmes.
• Coordinate project elements, resources, QA, and subcontractor interactions.
