Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor is seeking a Senior FLT Warehouse Operative in Bootle to join a busy distribution operation. You will operate a counterbalance FLT, manage stock movements with a WMS, and support goods-in/out and stock control processes.

This role offers a clear progression path into Team Leader and management positions, with full-time hours, weekly pay, and on-site parking. Rotating shifts and a strong work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Use WMS to manage stock movements and inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Support goods-in, goods-out and stock control processes.
• Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Provide day-to-day support and guidance to warehouse operatives.
• Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy and health & safety.
• Assist supervisors and management with operational requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Train to become part of the management team.

Senior FLT Warehouse Operative

Location: Bootle, L20

Pay: £14.00 - £15.50

Shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am (occasionally) rotating

Days: Monday-Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative with FLT who would like an opportunity and a career progression pathway into Team Leader and Management positions.
