Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join a busy team on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves unloading deliveries, using the FLT to move loads, and picking and packing for dispatch.

The shift runs Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 3:30pm, with a 1-hour unpaid break and paid for 8 hours per day. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy warehouse, be reliable and physically fit, and able to work independently with attention to

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Using a Counterbalance FLT to unload pallets and tubs.
• Checking the ordering system for new/updated orders.
• Reviewing batch sheets from 8:00am onwards.
• Picking customer orders and prioritising urgent and same-day orders.
• Preparing large orders onto pallets and smaller orders onto cages.
• Packaging products and maintaining an organized warehouse.

Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

£12.71 per hour + Attendance Bonus Temp to Perm Opportunity Monday to Friday | 5:30am - 3:30pm
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join their busy team.
This is a temp to perm position, with the successful candidate being offered a permanent contract after 12 weeks. Once permanent, the hourly rate will increase.

The Role

The first hour of each day is particularly busy, with deliveries arriving and stock being received. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of warehouse duties including:

• Receiving and unloading deliveries


• Using a Counterbalance FLT to unload pallets and ingredient tubs from delivery vehicles


• Checking the ordering system throughout the day for new and updated orders


• Reviewing batch sheets on the computer from 8:00am onwards


• Picking customer orders and prioritising urgent and same-day requirements


• Preparing large orders onto pallets and smaller orders onto cages


• Packaging products by hand into boxes ready for dispatch


• Maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse environment


• Manual handling duties involving products weighing up to 25kg

Requirements

• Valid in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
