Job summary

Unity Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT) in Ripon. This hands-on role focuses on receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and efficiency.

You will load/unload vehicles, operate FLT (training provided if needed), pick/pack orders, and maintain stock records. This is a full-time, permanent position with weekly pay and progression opportunities through FLT training.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred, but training can be provided).
• Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• A reliable and team‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred; training can be provided).
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Stowing stock in correct locations.
• Completing warehouse paperwork accurately.
• Supporting stock control and stock adjustments as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Working with the team to meet targets and customer expectations.
• Following health & safety procedures and site rules.

Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT)

Ripon (driving licence required) | £27,206 per annum rising to £28,246 after 3 months | Paid Weekly | Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.

The Role

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred - training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Putting stock away in correct locations
• Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately
• Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations
• Following all health & safety procedures and site rules

About You
