Job summary

Forth Ports Group in Tilbury is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead the safe and efficient management of the CCEP warehouse operation. You will report to the Operations Director, Tilbury, and drive continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team.

You will oversee budgeting, stakeholder relationships, and the achievement of contractual service levels, ensuring strong customer service and operational excellence across shifts and workloads.

Qualifications

• Significant management experience in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment.
• Proven people leadership including coaching, performance, conduct and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and continuous improvement.
• Track record of delivering operational KPIs while maintaining safety and service standards.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management with customers and third parties.
• Experience of budgeting, labour costs and productivity against targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CCEP warehouse operation, ensuring safety, quality and performance.
• Coach and develop Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager, Office Administrators, Stocks and Systems Manager, Shift Managers and teams.
• Develop succession plans and training programmes to strengthen capability and retention.
• Act as primary operational contact for CCEP, building strong relationships and meeting customer expectations.
• Drive performance against KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, cost and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Plan labour/resources across variable workloads and maintain budgetary control.
• Ensure HSE and Food Safety standards compliance and promote safety culture.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Commercial; lead investigations and corrective actions.
• Present reports and improvement plans to senior management.
