Resourcing Specialist at Ceva Logistics, CIPD Level 5 Qualified

YOUR ROLE

Our multi-user retail and consumer operation based in DIRFT, Crick, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Manager who will provide leadership, operational and customer service excellence across the site ensuring we meet and exceed all KPI and service level agreements not only for CEVA but our customers on site.

This role will see you working 16:00-00:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of seven direct reports, circa 70 indirect reports, plus agency resource to form a culture of employee engagement and high performance.
• Maintain an excellent partnership with the client, driving operational activities to achieve daily performance goals while promoting a health and safety culture on site.
• Provide management control through effective planning, organization, and communication to ensure all KPI targets and customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standards.
• Drive performance improvements by reviewing processes and reporting mechanisms and identifying, evaluating, and implementing continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring activities stay within quality and budget targets.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience of leading and managing a warehousing operation within a fast-paced environment, ideally within 3PL or retail and consumer environments.
• Ability to build and develop client relationships, strong people management skills, and the ability to coach and develop others.
• Skilled decision maker, negotiator, and influencer who can interact with colleagues at all levels.
• Understanding of cost models and budget tracking; strong report writing and statistical investigative skills would be desirable.
