Job summary

Stryker is seeking a customer-focused Staff Implementation Engineer to execute planning, architecture, and implementation of on-premise Vocera communications solutions, ensuring successful deployments within customer environments.

The role involves integrating with clinical workflows, training customer staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering end-to-end testing while meeting tight timelines, with frequent travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical services or support role with Windows Server and Linux.
• Basic understanding of wireless networking; ability to discuss networking topics with customers.
• Experience with Ekahau, Wireshark, tcpdump, and netcat for troubleshooting.
• Exposure to HL7 and integrating medical devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, architect, install, configure, test, and validate Vocera solutions end-to-end.
• Integrate Vocera with external systems including phone, nurse call, EHR, and middleware.
• Transfer knowledge to customer staff to enable ongoing maintenance.
• Train customer system administrators and help desk staff.
• Troubleshoot customer environments and optimize Vocera performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and communicate project status clearly.
