Job summary

Experis is seeking a Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer with active SC clearance for a long-term programme across secure Derby sites. The role combines design and hands-on delivery within a highly secure environment, supporting a major transformation project.

You will contribute to design, build and delivery of a large-scale VCF environment, with involvement in migration, upgrade and optimization activities and collaboration with architects and wider project teams.

Qualifications

The primary requirement is strong, demonstrable experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Strong experience across VMware NSX/NSX-T, vSAN, Aria Operations and Aria Automation is highly desirable.
Experience with migration, upgrade and transformation activity in large environments is valued.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deliver a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation environment.
Support transition from design into engineering delivery.
Deploy, configure and optimise VCF environments across networks, storage and automation.
Work across VMware networking, storage, automation and resilience technologies.
Troubleshoot complex virtualisation and infrastructure issues.
Produce and work from technical design documentation.
