Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is recruiting for a Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer to support an anticipated long-term programme across secure Derby sites. The role demands active SC clearance, with work predominantly onsite and starts in late Oct/Nov.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation architecture, design, build and deployment.
• Strong practical knowledge of VMware NSX/NSX-T, vSAN and related Aria products.
• Experience in complex enterprise virtualisation environments and secure/intrusive environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation environment.
• Support transition from design to engineering delivery.
• Deploy, configure and optimise VCF environments across sites.
• Work across VMware networking, storage, automation and resilience technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex virtualisation and infrastructure issues.
• Produce and work from technical design documentation.
• Support migration, upgrade and transformation activity.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams.
