Lookers Liverpool Vauxhall is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our workshop. You will perform health checks, services and repairs on a range of vehicles, working with experienced colleagues and reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Motor industry experience (brand or non-brand).
• Full and valid UK driving licence.
• Brand accreditation training provided.
• Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Carrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelines.
• Fitting additional accessories requested by the customer.
• Vehicle health check and reporting further work if required.
• Checks on lights, tyre pressure, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Completing minor repairs on both new and used vehicles.
• Basic diagnosis in mechanical and electrical work.
• Carrying out vehicle servicing per manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
• Authorised additional repairs and warranty write-ups.
• Road tests to ensure faults are rectified and complete paperwork to a high standard.
