You will service, maintain and repair vehicles, including electric models, diagnose faults and ensure high safety standards. Saturday shifts carry higher pay and there is a performance-based bonus.

Free onsite parking and an on-site canteen support a positive work environment. Ideal candidates hold Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and have proven fault-diagnosis skills,

Formación

• Essential Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with fault diagnosis ability.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Professional attitude and excellent teamwork abilities.
• Experience working on electric vehicles is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Utilise technical information to identify issues and apply repairs.
• Complete engine, transmission and suspension work.
• Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
• Ensure vehicles leaving the workshop are safe and roadworthy.

Our client, a reputable family-run main dealer in Worcester, is looking to appoint a Senior Vehicle Technician.

This is a fantastic Senior Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled professional to join a well-established team and work on a diverse range of vehicles, including electric vehicles.

• Salary up to £43,000 depending on experience, with performance-based bonus


• Saturday pay at a higher rate (1 in 3 Saturdays)

• On-site canteen and free flu jabs Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:


• Carry out comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment


• Use technical information to accurately identify issues and implement effective repairs


• Complete engine, transmission, suspension, and other mechanical repairs


• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards


• Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards


• Ensure all vehicles leaving the workshop are safe and roadworthy


• Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:


• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)


• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, capable of fault diagnosis
