Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a reputable dealership in Bishop's Stortford. This role suits qualified technicians or experienced mechanics aiming to advance in a premium automotive environment with extensive manufacturer training.

You’ll work Monday to Friday with every third Saturday morning, handling diagnostics, servicing and repairs on both new and used vehicles. Expect regular performance bonuses, structured progression, and robust manufacturer

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of diagnostics, MOT testing, and electric vehicle systems is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections on both new and used vehicles.
• Perform routine servicing and repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Fit accessories and fulfill customer modification requests.
• Complete documentation accurately and ensure warranty compliance.
• Road test vehicles post-repair to verify issues are resolved.

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership in Bishops Stortford. - Competitive basic salary of up to £37,000, with an uncapped OTE of approximately £44,320

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
