Perfect Placement UK Ltd is assisting a reputable, family-run main dealer in Worcester to recruit a Senior Vehicle Technician. You will service, repair and diagnose a broad range of vehicles, including EVs, working within a skilled team in a well-established workshop.

The role offers a salary up to £43,000 depending on experience, with a performance-based bonus, plus Saturday premium, free parking, and on-site facilities. EV qualification is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EV qualification is essential.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles.
• MOT tester qualification is preferable.

This is a fantastic Senior Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled professional to join a well-established team and work on a diverse range of vehicles, including electric vehicles.

Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Use technical information to accurately identify issues and implement effective repairs
• Complete engine, transmission, suspension, and other mechanical repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards
• Ensure all vehicles leaving the workshop are safe and roadworthy

Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
• Level 3 EV qualification (essential)
• MOT Tester qualification (preferable)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, capable of fault diagnosis
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
• Professional attitude with excellent teamworking abilities
