Job summary

The Crown Estate is seeking a senior valuation and performance professional to shape how portfolio performance is understood and communicated. Reporting to the Head of Performance Management, you will coordinate external valuations, provide clear insights into returns, risks and opportunities, and drive robust governance.

Qualifications

• RICS qualified valuer with commercial experience.
• Proficient Argus Enterprise user with valuation experience.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with BI tools (Power BI).
• Experience managing regular valuation processes and portfolio reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK real estate market.
• Proven ability to challenge status quo and drive transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of external valuation activity across a £13bn+ portfolio.
• Provide expert guidance on valuation outcomes, performance drivers, risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Manage external valuer appointments and tender processes.
• Lead on MSCI benchmarking for total return reporting across assets.
• Analyse portfolio performance using the Value Creation Framework for directors and SBUs.
• Support internal decision making in leasing, development and investment opportunities.
• Champion Power BI and automation to improve efficiency and data transparency.
