Netcompany is seeking a User Research professional to lead and develop research activities within UK public sector projects. You will supervise other researchers, advocate for inclusive practices, and align insights to service propositions.

A strong background in diverse research methods and agile collaboration is required, with hybrid working arrangements. You will contribute to delivering accessible digital services, speak to stakeholders, and ensure research informs strategic decisions across

Qualifications

• 4 years plus User Research experience.
• Have experience working to the GDS design principals or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Eligible for Security Clearance.
• Work to a Hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Build user-centred practices in new teams.
• Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition.
• Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice.
• Inclusive research. Advocate for inclusive practices and accessible services.
• Research skills across primary and secondary methods.
• Analysis and synthesis of research data to inform decisions.
• Present research findings and tailor for different audiences.
• Understand the social and technological context of projects.
• Align research activities to inform decision making and action.
• Understand technologies used to build and operate digital services.
• Support teams in adopting user-centred practices within agile workflows.
