Job summary

Burendo is seeking a Senior UX Designer to champion users on client projects and shape products that balance user needs with business goals. You’ll craft interfaces, run workshops, and translate research into design options that drive value for clients and the organisation.

You will lead and mentor other designers, collaborate across disciplines, present confidently to stakeholders, and help define design systems in a fast-paced consultancy environment in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of polished client work demonstrating end-to-end UX delivery.
• Strong grasp of interaction patterns and knowing when to bend them.
• Experience conducting workshops, interviews and observations.
• Ability to turn insights into multiple design options and concepts.
• Experience shaping visual identity, content structure and microcopy.
• Experience mentoring designers and leading a small team.
• Confidence presenting and advising clients in written, visual or in-person formats.
• Ability to link business goals to user needs with senior stakeholders.
