The Travelers in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced underwriter to manage a diverse book of moderately to complex risks. You will underwrite, negotiate terms with brokers, and drive profitability and growth across product lines.

You’ll partner with sales teams to win new business and retain existing accounts while maintaining strong risk controls. You will mentor junior colleagues, leverage technology platforms for quoting and binding, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to

• Underwriting experience across moderate to complex risks.
• Strong product knowledge of insurance solutions and regulatory environment.
• Ability to analyse financial information and make risk-aligned decisions.
• Proven ability to negotiate with brokers and internal partners.

Responsabilidades

• Manage profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book across products.
• Underwrite and negotiate moderate to complex risks, including MTAs.
• Proactively manage portfolio to meet KPIs and target new business and retention.
• Identify opportunities to write additional lines of business and expand risk appetite.
• Use technology platforms to quote and bind risk efficiently.
• Lead and present Underwriting Reviews and manage action points.
• Build relationships with brokers and internal teams to drive cross-selling.
• Develop retention plans and support new business teams to win joindre business.
