Job summary

TEKEVER in Swindon is establishing UK production capability and seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to shape processes, standards and ways of working for UK-built aircraft. You will own the technical definition of manufacturing processes for AR3, AR3 EVO and AR5, and transfer knowledge from Portugal to the Swindon site.

On the shop floor, you will act as the technical authority, collaborating with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive improvements across the area.

Qualifications

• Track record of assembly process development for complex, multi-discipline products.
• Direct experience with mechanical and electrical system integration.
• Experience owning production test or acceptance test processes.
• NPI and industrialisation experience, from development into repeatable production.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 or equivalent.
• Eligible for UK SC clearance; BPSS eligible from day one.

Responsibilities

• Design assembly and integration sequencing for complex electro-mechanical builds.
• Own mechanical, electrical and system integration steps in production.
• Define and own functional and acceptance production test procedures.
• Specify test equipment and fixtures for repeatable production testing.
• Lead troubleshooting of integration and production test issues.
• Manage non-conformances during assembly and integration through to disposition.
• Maintain configuration control throughout production.
• Lead tech transfer of build and test sequences from Portugal to Swindon.
• Take builds from engineering-development state into repeatable production.
• Write and own work instructions and test procedures for your area.
