Job summary

TEKEVER is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead day-to-day quality management at the Swindon site. You will establish robust manufacturing processes meeting AS9100/ISO 9001 in a highly regulated environment and translate requirements into effective shop-floor controls, evidence and improvements.

Working with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and the UK QSHE team, you will drive nonconformance management, FAIRs, root-cause analysis and Kaizen-led improvements to ensure

Qualifications

• Practical working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 in production.
• Experience preparing, reviewing or approving FAIRs and AS9102 requirements.
• Experience defining and deploying manufacturing processes with control plans, measures and documented information.
• Proven ability to lead nonconformance, root-cause and corrective-action activity to closure.
• Experience leading Kaizen, Lean or other structured continual-improvement activity in manufacturing.
• Good understanding of production quality controls: inspection planning, traceability, configuration control, calibration, preservation and release.
• Confident communicator across production, engineering, supply chain and leadership teams.
• Ability to balance shop-floor priorities with certification-readiness and system development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System implementation, maintenance and improvement aligned with AS9100/ISO 9001.
• Define, map and improve manufacturing and quality processes with clear ownership and controls.
• Plan, coordinate, review and approve First Article Inspection (FAIRs) and AS9102 requirements.
• Embed quality planning into new product introduction, production readiness and changes.
• Establish inspection, verification, release controls with traceable evidence.
• Manage nonconforming outputs: containment, disposition, escalation and prevention.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D) to closure.
• Drive Kaizen and continuous-improvement to reduce defects and waste.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support customer/certification audits.
• Support monitoring resources, traceability, configuration and change control.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain to resolve nonconformities.
