Job summary

TEKEVER seeks a hands-on Quality Technician to support manufacture, assembly and release of products at our Swindon site. You will inspect parts, verify documentation, and maintain accurate quality records to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.

You will work closely with Production and Engineering, identify nonconforming items, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. A strong eye for detail and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production quality in a technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Maintaining clear, auditable inspection records.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of incoming parts, components, assemblies and finished products against drawings and control plans.
• Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections per quality requirements.
• Support FAI, first-off and enhanced inspection activities for new products and suppliers.
• Verify product identification, configuration, traceability and documentation before acceptance.
• Provide shop-floor quality support to Production throughout manufacturing and assembly.
• Raise and maintain nonconformity records and support investigations and corrective actions.
