The Luminaire is a luxury travel company that designs unique and enriching experiences for our audience of curious explorers.

We are on a mission to make intelligent travel cool and sexy. We believe travel is about who you become, not just where you go.

This is a pivotal role in The Luminaire's growth journey. In 2025, we experienced exciting sales growth, and now we’re looking to add a Travel Sales Consultant to our team. This individual will be enthusiastic about joining a young, challenger brand in travel that is poised for rapid growth and will be instrumental in delivering it.

The ideal candidate will have experience from a top-tier luxury travel company, primarily in sales—both in web-driven luxury tailormade e-commerce and in 1-2-1 bespoke luxury sales. Our average order value is £20-30K, so experience operating within this luxury travel bracket is essential.

They should also possess a customer-focused mentality, ambition to excel, and be knowledgeable about the world, culture, and travel design.

The Package

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
  • EMI/Share Scheme available after one year of service.
  • Company bonus scheme ranging from 12% to 22% of base salary.
  • 25 days holiday.
  • Central London office in a Georgian Townhouse (Embankment and Waterloo).
  • Six days per year dedicated to health and wellbeing pursuits.
  • Travel opportunities and industry discounts.
  • Part of the role involves writing about experiences to support marketing efforts, including website content and customer emails.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new online tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, and website CMS systems.
  • Driven and committed to excellent client service.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

The Role:

  • Responding to client inquiries, assisting with trip budgets, and coordinating with our operations team to finalize arrangements.
  • Creating personalized itineraries for trips.
  • Updating client details in our CRM system.

Product Design:

  • Generating inspiration and ideas for new experiences, selecting locations, themes, and angles of curiosity.
  • Collaborating with The Luminaire’s experts to co-design enriching travel experiences.
  • Working with sales and product teams to develop marketable, costed travel products including accommodations, flights, and other assets.
  • Creating 'wow' moments that excite customers and reinforce The Luminaire’s brand.
