Job Description:

The Luminaire is a luxury travel company that designs unique and enriching experiences for our audience of curious explorers.

This is a pivotal role in The Luminaire’s growth journey. In 2025, we’ve seen exciting growth in sales; now we’re looking to add to our team with a Travel Sales Consultant, who will be excited about joining a young, challenger brand in travel that is poised for a period of faster growth - and being part of the team that delivers it.

This person will bring experience from a best-of-breed luxury travel company, primarily in sales, both in web-driven luxury tailormade e-commerce sales and in 1-2-1 luxury and bespoke sales. Our average order value is £20-30K, so a successful candidate will have experience operating in luxury travel within that bracket.

The right candidate will also bring a customer-focused mentality and an ambition to excel; knowledgeable about the world and culture, and experienced in travel design.

The Package

  • Competitive salary - Dependent on experience.
  • EMI/Share Scheme - Open to all staff after a year of service.
  • Company Bonus scheme with between 12%-22% of base salary.
  • 25 days holiday.
  • Central London office in a Georgian Townhouse (Embankment, and Waterloo).
  • Equivalent of 6 days a year for health and wellbeing pursuits.
  • Travel opportunities and industry discounts.
  • You are adept at writing; part of the role involves writing about experiences to help our marketing team create the website and writing emails to our customers.
  • You are skilled with MS Office and comfortable with new online tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, and website CMS systems.
  • Driven and committed to client service.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

The Role:

  • Answering client inquiries for trips and experiences; helping create budgets and finalizing arrangements with our operations team.
  • Creating personalized itineraries for trips.
  • Entering client details into our CRM system and keeping records updated.

Product Design

  • Creating inspirations and ideas for new experiences; selecting locations, themes, and angles of curiosity.
  • Co-designing and ideating enriching travel experiences with The Luminaire’s experts.
  • Working with sales and product teams to develop marketable and costed travel products with accommodations, flights, and other assets.
  • Creating ‘wow’ moments that excite customers and define The Luminaire’s brand.
