Job summary

SLR Consulting in the UK is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join our Transport and Mobility Planning team, based in Leeds or Sheffield on a hybrid basis. You will deliver Vision-Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans, and develop practical transport solutions for residential and commercial projects across Yorkshire.

You will work with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams, advancing through feasibility to planning delivery while growing your project

Qualifications

• Advanced experience delivering UK transport planning projects.
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g. MCIHT) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Vision-Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
• Using professional judgement to develop effective and practical transport solutions
• Client relationship management and support with fee proposals
• Planning and undertaking stakeholder and client engagement activities
• Supporting project financial performance alongside Project Managers and Directors
• Continual development of technical knowledge in line with policy and regulatory changes
