Job summary
SLR Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join the Transport and Mobility Planning team, based in Leeds or Sheffield on a hybrid basis. You will deliver Vision-Led Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Statements, while managing client relationships and contributing to project feasibility, planning applications, and delivery across Yorkshire and beyond.

Qualifications
- Advanced experience delivering UK transport planning projects.
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or related field.
- Membership of a relevant body (e.g. MCIHT) or working towards it.
- Technical and project delivery capability with client management experience.
- Experience with transport modelling software such as Junctions and LINSIG.
- Strong reporting, communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Vision-Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.
- Support projects from feasibility through planning application to delivery.
- Manage client relationships and assist with fee proposals.
- Support project financial performance alongside PMs and Directors.
