2 Sisters Food Group is hiring a Transport Dispatch Supervisor for the West Bromwich site. You will lead a team to optimise resources and ensure safety, quality and timely dispatch of products. The role requires effective communication, strong numeracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will manage shift patterns, maintain policy compliance, and coordinate with the Transport Manager to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT and PPT licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Solid numeracy.
• Excellent track record of managing teams and compliance.
• Clear communication and team-building ability.
• Self-motivated and resilient.
• IOSH Managing Safety certification.
• Confident decision maker and challenger of status quo.
• Ensures total legal compliance in H&S, technical and people areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage resources to meet output and customer service targets while following policies.
• Review and develop your team to maintain performance, attendance and conduct.
• Ensure site is legally compliant and promote safety and hygiene.
• Achieve planned unloading and loading targets.
• Monitor operation progress and liaise with other departments to resolve issues.
• Ensure staff training is provided and documented with the transport manager.
• Communicate issues with the Transport Manager and other teams.
• Maintain accreditation through audits and corrective actions.
• Complete relevant paperwork such as FLT checks and dispatch records.
• Collaborate with the yard and transport areas to uphold standards.
• Assist in employment-relations matters such as investigations and performance management.
