Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a permanent, full-time Despatch Operative for the Flixton site near Bungay. You will ensure finished products are checked, recorded and prepared for despatch, working closely with warehouse, production and transport teams to maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous export, despatch, logistics or transport-administration experience would be advantageous, but training will be provided.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and maintain reliable records.
• Able to manage several tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Capable of working with warehouse, manufacturing and transport teams.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Independent work mindset while contributing to the wider team.
• Comfortable working in warehouse and manufacturing areas and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality throughout the despatch process.
• Carry out and record temperature checks accurately.
• Complete despatch paperwork and record information clearly.
• Ensure products are prepared and despatched per customer specifications.
• Check orders for accuracy before they leave the site.
• Support compliance with transport, legal and food-safety requirements.
• Communicate with warehouse, production and transport colleagues to resolve discrepancies or delays.
• Follow health and safety, food-safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
• Report any product, documentation, temperature or quality concerns promptly.
