Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Senior Transition Manager to lead onboarding for ASPIRE Managed Services’ Oracle portfolio. You will drive transition readiness, governance and risk management across complex programmes, collaborating with Sales, Portfolio Directors and Delivery teams.

You will shape transition methodologies, manage a team of Transition Managers and contribute to bids, mobilisation planning and continuous improvement to deliver high-value customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading customer transitions within a Managed Services or Oracle environment.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Expertise in transition governance, planning, risk management, service readiness and handover.
• Experience leading steering committees and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Customer-facing skills with ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with bids, mobilisation planning and transition costing.
• Excellent organisational skills for multiple concurrent programmes.
• Knowledge of ITIL and service management best practices.
• Understanding of ISO20000 and ISO27001 governance-led service delivery.
• ERP background, ideally within Oracle ERP/Oracle Cloud/EBS/JD Edwards/PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Applications Transition function within ASPIRE Managed Services.
• Manage and develop a team of Transition Managers and transition resources.
• Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture and standardise practices.
• Define and evolve transition methodologies, governance and best practices.
• Contribute to strategic growth and maturity of the ASPIRE Managed Services organisation.
• Own end-to-end transition lifecycle from contract award to BAU.
• Provide executive oversight across onboarding and service expansion programmes.
• Ensure robust transition plans, RAID, governance, and communications.
• Lead Go/No-Go decisions and knowledge transfer activities.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled efficiencies in the transition process.
