Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Transformation Manager to join the Transformation team in Warwick. This hands-on role requires structure, pace and constructive challenge to move ambition into measurable delivery actions.

You will collaborate across programmes, establishing milestones, governance, RAID controls and value cases while maintaining momentum and concise stakeholder updates. Flexible working patterns with 2 days in the Warwick office are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in project management, transformation, change delivery or portfolio support.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills across multiple programmes.
• Experience in governance, milestones, risk/issue tracking and delivery coaching.

Responsibilities

• Support programme leads and business owners to develop robust programme plans, milestones, deliverables and delivery routines.
• Drive consistency in how programmes across the portfolio are structured, governed, reported and managed.
• Identify, track and progress risks, issues, dependencies and actions across multiple programmes.
• Maintain delivery momentum by following up actions, challenging slippage and escalating barriers where required.
• Provide constructive challenge to ensure delivery plans and governance remain robust, realistic and aligned to outcomes.
• Help develop clear benefits, value cases, success measures and KPIs for programmes.
• Identify dependency clashes and align plans across related initiatives.
• Ensure programmes align to wider transformation priorities and communicate progress to leadership.
