Job summary

Senior Training Developer at Babcock’s Devonport Royal Dockyard site leads the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of training for nuclear-implicated staff and stakeholders. Your work ensures knowledge and skills align with safety and national security requirements.

You will influence learning across a major defence organisation, maintain nuclear safety standards, and contribute to workforce development and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, delivering or evaluating training solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a safety-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programmes using the SAT methodology.
• Analyse, implement and evaluate nuclear training requirements.
• Coach and mentor colleagues on training development processes.
• Ensure activities comply with site licence, regulations and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in training, assessment and accreditation.
