Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Safety Performance and Learning Advisor at Devonport Royal Dockyard to support the Health and Safety team with safety event tracking, reporting and learning dissemination. You will coordinate actions, maintain accurate records, and prepare performance information to drive improvements.

The role offers on-site working at Devonport with a focus on governance, compliance and continuous safety improvement in a highly regulated defence environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative/coordination roles with record-keeping responsibilities.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manipulate data in Excel to produce reports.
• Experience producing reports, managing data and using spreadsheets to monitor information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain safety event records, track actions, and progress through to completion.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, performance information, and trend analysis for the Health and Safety team.
• Support meetings by organising documentation, recording actions, and ensuring agreed actions are progressed.
• Communicate lessons learned across the business to promote a positive safety culture.
• Provide admin support for safety investigations and improvement initiatives.
