Job summary

Butler Rose is recruiting an Associate Director, Trade Surveillance in London to lead the development and enhancement of the trade surveillance framework across commodities, futures and derivatives trading activity. Reporting directly to the Compliance Director, you’ll shape the function at the outset of the business's growth.

You will investigate complex alerts, escalate issues, and partner with senior stakeholders to embed MAR controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of trade surveillance experience.
• Strong expertise in MAR and market abuse investigations.
• Knowledge of commodities, futures and derivatives markets.
• Exposure to LME and/or ICE products is advantageous.
• Nasdaq SMARTS experience is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Degree educated.

• Develop and enhance the trade surveillance framework across commodities, futures and derivatives trading activity.
• Investigate complex alerts, escalate potential issues and act as a compliance partner.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to embed MAR controls within the business.
