Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited is seeking a Senior Programme Manager for People Data to lead end-to-end delivery, governance and integrity of the People Data portfolio. You will ensure programmes align with business priorities, regulatory requirements and enterprise data standards.

The role spans CSRD reporting, workforce dashboards, data products and foundational capabilities, with a focus on data ownership, governance, and scalable, auditable data solutions across multiple teams and geographies.

Qualifications

• Cross-functional data or platform delivery across multiple teams and geographies.
• Experience in compliance, regulatory, reporting or data analytics programmes.
• Ability to build relationships and influence senior leadership.
• Experience in People Management.
• Strong project, stakeholder and programme management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills translating technical concepts to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex programmes with multiple risks affecting Tesco priorities.
• Line manage a team and develop talent within the TPM community.
• Establish or improve delivery methodology to meet programme goals.
• Initiate and shape programmes with ambiguous scope.
• Create and track a plan including the technical implementation plan.
• Provide expert advice on programme delivery and mentor others.
• Identify trade-offs in software delivery and drive consensus with Engineering/Product.
• Foresee risks and manage escalations.
