Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Strategic Analytics Data Partner in People Data & Analytics to help translate workforce questions into clear, actionable insight. You will connect workforce, operations and business measures, test hypotheses and tell a story about what the data means and what to do next.

You will shape the analytics agenda by partnering with leaders, building reusable analytical products and guiding decision makers with evidence-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• Ability to build clear narratives from multiple data sources to inform decisions.
• Experience turning complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Experience applying diagnostic and forward-looking analytics beyond standard reports.
• Ability to explain uncertainty and limitations clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic people analytics and diagnostic analysis to support leadership decisions.
• Create clear data-driven stories tailored to executive, functional and operational audiences.
• Partner with stakeholders to align analytics with Tesco’s business priorities and external pressures.
• Define reusable analytics products and dashboards to support recurring decisions.
• Apply advanced analytics, experiments and AI to improve insights and decision support.
• Ensure data quality, governance and methodological rigor in analyses.
• Coach colleagues and develop the Tesco people analytics community and capabilities.
