AECOM Infrastructure and Environment UK Limited is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our national team with hybrid working. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams on major development applications and provide planning advice on consent requirements, supported by a structured approach to feasibility and consent strategies.

You will lead, submit, and manage planning applications, while liaising with local authorities and stakeholders.

Competenze

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
• Membership of the RTPI or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience working on planning applications.
• Knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Client focus with collaborative working approach.

Mansioni

• Project Coordination and Delivery: coordinate multidisciplinary teams on major development applications and ensure quality and health and safety principles.
• Planning Advice and Strategy: provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted development; assist with feasibility reports and consent strategies.
• Documentation and Application Management: write Planning Statements and manage planning applications with stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: work with Environmental Impact Assessment teams and participate in meetings.
• Research, Business Development, and Project Management: contribute to tenders and planning research.
