Identify Talent is seeking a Senior Sales Representative in East Yorkshire to drive revenue across merchant, manufacturing and construction accounts. The role is externally facing and requires a credible field presence, with the ability to manage pricing, lead times and delivery schedules in collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B field sales within timber, building materials or related sectors.
• Strong external sales profile with credibility on the road and in client meetings.
• Balance of volume, margin and service while negotiating structured agreements.
• Ability to understand machined timber products and translate capabilities into solutions.
• Experience selling to merchants, manufacturers and contractors; existing relationships are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account plans to exceed sales and margin targets.
• Grow a portfolio of merchant, manufacturer and construction accounts as the main commercial contact.
• Identify and secure new business through prospecting, networking and market mapping.
• Present the full range of machined timber products and bespoke services with clear value.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align stock, capacity, lead times and delivery options.
• Prepare quotations and proposals; lead pricing and volume negotiations to close deals.
• Maintain CRM records, track activity, pipeline and forecasts.
• Provide market insight on pricing, demand and competitor activity.
