Job summary

Mitchell Maguire recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Timber Products for the South East region. The role involves external field sales of timber products and sheet materials to tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors, D&B contractors, joinery merchants and shop fitters.

You will operate from a dedicated branch with strong internal support and aim to drive turnover toward £2m in year one through upselling and cross selling of the product range.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record selling timber products.
• Must have contacts within the industry and a pre-existing customer base.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• External field sales selling timber products and sheet materials.
• Sell to tier 1, 2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors, joinery contractors, small to medium builders & shop fitters and merchants.
• Aim to turn over circa £2m in year one.
• Work from a dedicated branch with strong internal support.
• Upsell and cross-sell product range where possible.

The role of the External Sales Representative -Timber Products will involve:

• External field sales position selling a range of timber products and sheet materials
• All of your time will be spent selling to tier 1,2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors, joinery contractors, small to medium sized builders & shop fitters and merchants
• After year one want you to be turning over circa £2m
• Working out of a dedicated branch with great internal support
• Upselling and cross selling product range where possible

The ideal applicant will be a External Sales Representative -Timber Products with:
