Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an External Sales Representative Timber Products for the South East region. You will spend time selling timber products and sheet materials to tier 1–3 contractors, joinery specialists, sub-contractors, shop fitters and merchants, building strong relationships and conveying technical information.

Role targets include turning over circa £2m in year one, with a dedicated branch and robust internal support to upsell and cross-sell the product range.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record selling timber products.
• Must have contacts within the industry and a pre-existing customer base.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technically information.

Responsibilities

• External field sales selling timber products and sheet materials.
• Sell to tier 1, 2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors, joinery contractors, builders and merchants.
• Upselling and cross-selling product range where possible.
• Work from a dedicated branch with strong internal support.

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + £10,000 bonus

The role of the External Sales Representative Timber Products will involve:

External field sales position selling a range of timber products and sheet materials

All of your time will be spent selling to tier 1,2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors,joinery contractors, small to medium sized builders & shop fitters and merchants

After year one want you to be turning over circa £2m

Working out of a dedicated branch with great internal support

Upselling and cross selling product range where possible
