Leader Recruitment Group is delighted to work with a trusted provider of specialised care and education services to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Loughborough. This service supports young people with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and Autism. Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care, including personal care and medication administration, tailored to each young person's needs.
Mentor and guide support workers, setting a positive example to maintain exceptional care standards.
Create a warm, safe home environment that fosters growth, recovery, and confidence.
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people to support their emotional and social development.
Work closely with the Registered Manager to provide therapeutic, individualised care.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture that empowers every child to succeed.
About You
Minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential setting.
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
Full UK Driving Licence.
A caring, resilient, and adaptable approach with a passion for supporting young people.
Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
Experience in a senior or mentoring role in a care setting.
Knowledge of supporting young people with disabilities or autism.
