Job description

Senior Support Worker – Adult Enablement Unit

Are you passionate about empowering individuals with mental health issues and learning disabilities to live more independently? Do you want to build on your care experience?

We are looking for people who have experience in managing individuals with complex needs such as personality disorders, learning disabilities, and psychosis.

This role is ideal if you are:

Your role will involve leading a dedicated staff team and providing practical and emotional support to adults with various mental health conditions.

We are keen to hear from you if you:

  • Hold an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above, with a willingness to work towards Level 4
  • Have broad experience managing individuals with complex needs such as personality disorders
  • Are passionate, motivated, and believe in delivering quality care
  • Have good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, and best practices
  • Have experience conducting quality assurance audits, spot checks, and preparing for CQC inspections
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Are flexible with working hours
