This is an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and deliver exceptional care while advancing your career in social care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to young people, fostering their recovery, growth, and development.
Lead and mentor a team of support workers, acting as a positive role model to ensure outstanding care standards.
Meet the daily living needs of young people, creating a safe and nurturing home environment.
Build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and external professionals to make a lasting impact.
Support the Registered Manager in delivering therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs.
Contribute to a culture of growth and positivity, ensuring young people have opportunities to thrive.
About You
Minimum of 12 months' experience in the care sector, ideally in a children's residential setting.
Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a passion for supporting young people.
Full UK Driving Licence and over the age of 21.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
Experience in a senior or supervisory role within a children's home.
