Job summary

Common Thread Group is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker near Abington to lead and coach a small residential care team, ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for vulnerable young people.

You will work with the House Manager to maintain high standards of care, support team development, and apply a trauma-informed approach to complex behaviours while covering sleepover and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential care or relevant field.
• HNC Social Care and SVQ 3 are essential; SVQ 4 desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection; trauma-informed approach.
