HCA UK’s Harley Street Clinic in London is seeking a Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join a high‑calibre perioperative team. You’ll deliver safe, high‑quality care across a diverse caseload and work with leading Consultants in a technologically advanced theatre environment.

You’ll be a senior member of the team, mentoring colleagues, supporting service development, and participating in the on‑call rota. A registration in NMC/HCPC and extensive scrub experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Current NMC or HCPC registration.
• Significant scrub experience within an acute theatre environment, independently managing complex cases.
• Exposure to a broad range of specialties including cardiac, neurosurgery, thoracic, vascular, spine, plastics, breast reconstruction, ENT, GI and maxillofacial surgery.
• Strong understanding of perioperative assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Excellent communication and relationship building with Consultants, multidisciplinary teams and junior colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Deliver a high standard of patient care using evidence-based practice throughout the perioperative pathway.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate perioperative care with patient-centred focus.
• Prepare instruments/equipment per patient and Consultant requirements; maintain surgeon preference cards.
• Ensure theatre equipment is checked prior to use and faults are escalated to maintain safety standards.
• Participate as a senior team member across all theatre areas; mentor junior colleagues and support a collaborative environment.
