Job summary

HCA UK is recruiting a Scrubs Lead Theatre Practitioner for London Bridge Hospital to lead the theatre team across Neuro, Spine and General Surgery. The role offers exposure to robotic surgery and complex caseloads in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre staff, coordinating activity while maintaining patient safety and high standards of care. Leadership and mentorship are essential to develop colleagues professionally.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or ODP qualification required.
• Current NMC or HCPC registration required.
• Experience in Neuro, Spine and General surgery with robotic exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the theatre environment, ensuring safe, effective and evidence based patient care.
• Coordinate Neuro, Spine, General and Robotic Surgery theatre activity to optimise patient flow and utilisation.
• Mentor, coach and assess colleagues to support professional development and maintain high clinical standards.
• Share specialist knowledge and champion best practices across the department as a role model.
• Support the Theatre Manager and Theatre Coordinator with operational oversight and equipment processes.
