Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an experienced Tender Manager to lead the bid process, from receipt to submission, in a highly regulated environment. You will shape strategy, coordinate teams, and ensure compelling, high-quality submissions.

Role requires 10+ years in nuclear or similarly regulated sectors, strong project management, and CRM proficiency, with the ability to develop win strategies and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven bid/tender project management track record.
• Commercial understanding and experience.
• 10+ years in nuclear or highly regulated industry.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Strategic understanding and big-picture thinking.
• Understanding of business development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-qualification and bid management to ensure high-quality submissions.
• Develop bid programmes, schedules and requirements for each tender.
• Coordinate contributors, SMEs, subsidiaries and supply-chain partners.
• Oversee bid writing and ensure responses align with scoring.
• Lead win strategy sessions, storyboarding, and bid reviews.
• Facilitate client interview and presentation rehearsals.
• Support partnering and business development discussions.
• Maintain CRM information and support business development.
