Job summary

Betfred Group Holdings Limited is seeking a senior delivery leader to own delivery for the TechOps portfolio. You will build and own the master critical path, enforce change control, and run the highest‑risk programmes personally, while partnering with senior technical Heads to challenge and reprioritise plans.

The role requires hands‑on delivery leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to embedded trend‑based delivery discipline across TechOps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑team technical or infrastructure delivery programmes at Head of/senior delivery level.
• Strong technical credibility across infrastructure, platform, database and network domains.
• Authority to challenge, block and reprioritise plans owned by senior technical peers, operating as a peer to Heads of.
• Understanding of programme and project management, with ability to personally build and own a critical path and dependency plan.
• Experience embedding and enforcing formal change control gates on infrastructure and scope changes.

Responsibilities

• Sit as a peer to senior Heads with authority to challenge, block or reprioritise plans.
• Build and own the master critical path and dependency plan across the TechOps portfolio.
• Take accountability for change control on every TechOps programme.
• Sanity‑check technical estimates and run the highest‑risk programmes personally.
• Own sequencing and prioritisation across TechOps and DBA demand.
• Ensure sign‑offs are not issued while resilience testing is outstanding.
• Attach a named owner and target date to every issue raised and close ownership gaps.
• Own trend‑based delivery confidence reporting (planned vs actual, forecast variance).
• Hold technical leads and PMs to account for their delivery commitments.
• Build contingency into programme plans from variance and keep live dependency‑mapped plans.
