Job summary

Cyber Security training courses in Leeds or London seeks an experienced Technology Risk Manager to influence technology, cyber and resilience risk across major financial institutions. You will challenge risk across cloud, outsourcing and third‑party arrangements, acting as a technical authority and delivering assurance across complex environments.

The role focuses on resilience, recovery and risk management, with interaction at executive levels and across industry forums.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technology risk, cyber risk and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of SS2/21 and SS1/21 and risk management practices.
• Experience reviewing cloud environments and transformation programmes (AWS/Azure).
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide risk insight.
• Strong report writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as a recognised technical authority across technology, cyber, cloud and third‑party risk.
• Lead assurance reviews of transformation programmes and critical third‑party relationships.
• Assess resilience and security against disruption scenarios, including cyber incidents.
• Review cloud strategies and migration programmes for operational resilience risks.
• Provide challenge and guidance on risk management and resilience capabilities.
• Produce high‑quality reports and present findings to senior decision‑makers.
• Represent the organisation in industry forums and resilience initiatives.
• Influence policy development through technical expertise and industry insight.
