Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Technology & Resilience Risk Director to join the Group Risk & Compliance function. You will provide expert advice and oversight across technology risks, including cyber, cloud, SDLC, and third-party risk, reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer.

You will lead risk oversight for AI initiatives and the related change portfolio, shaping governance and risk culture across the organisation. A senior leadership role with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in technology risk including cyber and cloud.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and data protection.
• Experience leading risk teams and governance structures.
• Ability to communicate complex risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance and oversight of technology risks including cyber, cloud, SDLC, and third-party risk.
• Oversee risk management for AI initiatives.
• Manage change portfolio risk alongside GR&C leadership.
• Deliver clear reporting to senior governance bodies.
• Champion risk and compliance culture across the Group.
• Develop and mentor high-performing risk teams.
