Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Technical Test Analyst to strengthen the Aerospace, Defence and Security testing capability in Hemel Hempstead. You will guide testing across functional and non-functional areas, mentoring peers and driving quality outcomes in a challenging environment.

Role is full-time and on-site 3–4 days per week, with SC security clearance. You will work with teams on complex system integrations and ensure robust test coverage across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience across system and integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of AD, SQL, ITSM tools and monitoring platforms.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into effective test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to Test Plan and Test Approach documents in line with the overall Test Strategy.
• Analysing requirements and solution design artefacts to derive clear test cases and results.
• Coordinating with Development and Engineering teams to support delivery across test levels.
• Managing test cases, defects and execution using test management tools.
• Creating and managing test data, environments and prerequisites for complex testing scenarios.
• Producing test metrics, supporting defect resolution and escalating risks.
